Half-Marathon and a severe week!

This week at Arizona State was our annual OcTUBAfest, which usually lasts the week before Halloween. There were several recitals during the week, where my students played exceptionally well - great job everyone!

The final show was OcTUBAween, which for those who have seen it, know the debauchery that is included in the show - - - it was definitely more professional and tame than in the past. Thank you for that as well.

Mary and I went down to Tucson on Saturday for some R&R with a few of our friends. I ran the Tucson Half-Marathon and finished. Well, I finished last in my age group - but there was one person who didn't finish in my age group - - - so, we can count them last, right?!?

Overall my running partner and I finished 248 and 249 out of the field of 304. We were over an hour behind the leader - but I saw this guy - I swear he only weighed 90 lbs. We had about 200 lbs. on him between the two of us. LOL!
